Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA")

The Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") is the civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities solely on the basis of disability in employment, public services and accommodations. There are sections of the law about employment, public transportation services, state and local government activities, public accommodations, and telecommunications access.
