We will be having a focus group on Monday, February 5 at 7:00 PM at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center, 333 Nahanton St., Newton to discuss possible changes to the ongoing Yesodot parent support group. We will be reviewing topics for discussion, meeting times and format, and meeting facilitation. 02/18 Adaptive Skiing: Cross-Country Skiing, Kicksledding, & Snowshoeing with the MA Dept of Conservation and Recreation Universal Access Program
11:00-3:00 p.m. Weston Ski Track (Leo J. Martin Golf Course), Weston.
FREE passes, lessons and adaptive winter sports equipment (such as kick-sleds, sit skis, and snowshoes) will be available for paid-up Yesodot member adaptive skiers who pre-register. Please note that for other family members, there is cross- country ski equipment rental and limited snowshoe rental at Weston Ski track, but families are also welcome to bring their own equipment. Families should bring their own lunches (hot chocolate is available), and no one will be allowed to ski without completing the waiver forms.
