1/16 Annual Adaptive Skiing on Martin Luther King Day
Hit the slopes! Join Yesodot for our fourth annual Martin Luther King Day
Adaptive Ski Event, this year for the first time at Loon Mountain, New
Hampshire. The White Mountain Adaptive Ski School at Loon Mountain is a
non-profit organization dedicated to making snow sports accessible to all.
White Mountain focuses on individual ability in order to help participants
overcome the hurdles they may face. The experienced coaches at Loon
regularly work with children ages 4 and up, and with adults, and can
provide lessons for skiers who possess a variety of skill levels. Whether
you are a beginner or expert interested in skiing, snowboarding,
telemarking, or snowtoys, Loon says they have the coach for you!
For more
information about the Adaptive Ski School, please visit: www.loonmtn.com/info/winter/adaptive.asp. This event is FREE for the first
16 adaptive skiers from paid-up Yesodot member families who register.
Other Yesodot families $50/adaptive skier. Because Yesodot pays for Loon
Mountain to hold these adaptive ski slots open for our families and
reserving a slot means that someone else may have been turned away, there
will be a non-refundable cancellation fee of $60 per adaptive skier.
Families of adaptive skiers are responsible for making skiing arrangements
for other members of the family.

Jewish Philanthropies. Learn important and practical information to plan
for the housing needs of your adult child at this introductory "how to"
