Yesodot families join with others in the Jewish community to meet with
legislators at the State House in Boston, starting at 9:00 A.M. This is an
important opportunity for you to talk with others in the Jewish community
and with your state legislators about important issues. Join hundreds of
Jews from across Massachusetts to let our elected leaders know that the
Jewish community cares about vulnerable families and individuals. Speak
out for social justice and fair treatment for all members of our community.
Help restore painful funding cuts to vital programs and services. Thank you
for being a Jewish voice for social justice!
While it's so important to show your support
in person, for those Yesodot families who are unable to attend Advocacy Day
in person, you can still help. From 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM there will be
Yesodot call-in time. During that time, pick up the phone and call your
legislator. To find out who your legislator is or to get his/her phone
number, go to http://www.wheredoIvotema.com. Please make sure to let Sue
know that you will be attending Advocacy Day and/or making phone calls by
sending an e-mail to director@yesodot.org Look for more information in the
next E-News.
