Yesodot families are invited to join Ventures
Into Well-Being and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation
and Recreation Universal Access Program, on the trail at Borderland
State Park in Sharon. Assistive equipment and teamwork help
people of all abilities access conventional hiking trails
at a leisurely pace. Adaptive equipment includes Terra Trek
manual wheelchairs, baby joggers, walkers, crutches, and gait
belts. Spaces limited to first 15-20 people to sign up.
Guided tour of the grounds...see the mansion...participate
in environmental activities...see the water lilies in bloom!
The exact time of day we meet will depend on group
consensus so RSVP early with a time preference so that I can
share the information with group leaders. RSVP by 5/25 at
the latest to reserve your space by e-mailing
director@yesodot.org
and include a description of mobility issues/needs and time
preference.
For more information about the program, and
