1/13 What About Us? Young Siblings Need
Support Too
Shelly Rossman, Director of the Billy Dalwin
PreSchool of Temple Emunah and Diane Cohen, MSW, present a
workshop for families with young children (kindergarten and
younger) who are siblings of children with disabilities and
for professionals who work with young children.
This is an ideal chance for parents to learn
new information about young siblings' needs and to ask questions
to help their young children understand a sister or brother's
disability. This is also an opportunity for preschool and
kindergarten teachers to learn how to respond to young children's
questions about disabilities and individual differences. January
13, 7:00-9:00 PM. Leventhal-Sidman JCC, Newton, Room 205.
RSVP: January 6th to wolffordham@rcn.com.
