In accordance with our mission, Yesodot is run by the member
families themselves. Member families set priorities and guide
the development of programs, hire staff and set budget priorities.
We provide a variety of programs and services, based on family interest and need.
Programming:
Family ExpLoRATionS family social and recreational activities
such as bowling, swimming, holiday, community and other
enjoyable events for families.
Family support: parent support; sibling support; informal
opportunities for families to meet and share information.
Education and information sharing: Speakers and workshops;
e-mail news; website. Y-TECH
assistive technology conferences and resources.
Public Awareness: Activities to develop public awareness;
parent training; working with advocacy coalitions.
Fostering Jewish Community Connections: Fostering the
participation of our families in community-wide events and
working together with other Jewish community organizations
to promote community inclusion.
