*Yesodot is currently in the middle of a transition and is not accepting new memberships.  If you have received an email that your membership is due to expire or has expired, please call the office at 617-399-3299.  We will temporarily reinstate you until we are able to accept new membership.

It has never been easier to join Yesodot.  All it takes is one click on the newly redesigned website, www.yesodot.org.  And now is the time to join or renew -- we've spent the last several months enhancing our "infrastructure" with new technology, and are now offering two value-packed memberships to serve you even better. 

Yesodot Membership is open to Jewish and interfaith families who live in the Greater Boston area and have a child, youth or young adult in the family with a disability. 

We welcome those who would like to connect with the Jewish community and encourage the participation of interfaith families, couples and significant others as members and in all of our activities.  Many of our events and programs are open to the public.

There are many ways to become involved in Yesodot; as a volunteer (of your time, heart, or generous donation), as a board member, or by becoming a member or a friend. 

When Yesodot confirms your membership, you will receive a username and password.  You can then log in under the ‘my account’ link at the bottom of the page or log in under member section.

**Please note that without paid membership, some of the services previously provided (such as consultation, E-News, access to certain parts of the website, etc.), will no longer be provided.  Families who are on our mailing list but choose not to join will continue to receive notices of Yesodot workshops, but the majority of our services will be reserved for paid member families.

General Membership:

For just $36 per year, Yesodot General Members receive: 

1. discounted or free registration fees and priority slots for all events and workshops
2. one monthly Events Newsletter and one monthly Resource Newsletter
3. members-only get-togethers for networking with other families (parents night out, family
    game night, etc.)
4. access to the members-only portion of the website which includes:

• access to the Yesodot General Forum (online discussion between members)
• access to Yesodot's Family Connection Google Group
• articles related to disabilities and disability services and programs
• audio and video (coming soon - we hope to offer past workshops in video format)
• Yesodot’s Resource Sheets (Bar/Bat Mitzvah checklist, Jewish Children's Books, etc.)
• access to additional Resource Links from the website
• access to a Sibling Discussion Facebook Group

TRANSITIONS Membership:

If your child with a disability is a teen or young adult, you may want to consider our TRANSITIONS Membership.  For $54 a year, TRANSITIONS Members receive all of the above benefits, plus:

1. use of videos, CD ROMs and books in Yesodot's TRANSITIONS Library 
2. access to Yesodot’s TRANSITIONS Forum (an online discussion between members about 
    issues related to transition and adult services)
3. online access to the TRANSITIONS Notebook
4. one monthly TRANSITIONS Newsletter, which breaks down the Notebook into smaller
    newsletters. The notebook includes topics such as:

• getting the most out of the transition planning process with your school district   
• laws and regulations related to Transition Planning
• post-secondary education 
• self advocacy, self-determination, person-centered planning
• work-related information
• guardianship and age of majority
• financial issues and how to protect assets
• independent living
