TRANSITIONS Members

Welcome to the TRANSITIONS Members area of the website.  In this section, you will find the areas and benefits available only to TRANSITIONS Members for $54 per year.  These include the benefits listed on the general members page and:

1. use of videos, CD ROMs and books in Yesodot's TRANSITIONS Library 
2. access to Yesodot’s TRANSITIONS Forum (an online discussion between members about issues related to transition and adult services)
3. online access to the TRANSITIONS Notebook (currently under development) and a monthly email service to learn about Transition Planning in a step-by-step manner.  The notebook includes topics such as (but not limited to):

  • getting the most out of the transition planning process with your school district   
  • laws and regulations related to Transition Planning
  • post-secondary education 
  • self advocacy, self-determination, person-centered planning
  • work-related information
  • guardianship and age of majority
  • financial issues and how to protect assets
  • independent living

TRANSITIONS Library

Prepare your child for adult life with these fun and age/ability-appropriate tools.  Members may request library materials from the Yesodot office. Items will be sent by mail and should be returned after three weeks.
