Yesodot's Families

Yesodot's Families

Yesodot's families come from over 30 cities and towns in the Greater Boston community. Individuals with disabilities served range from young children to adults. These individuals have a variety of disabilities: developmental disabilities and developmental delay; learning disabilities; Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, and Asperger's Syndrome; Cerebral Palsy; Down Syndrome; physical disabilities; mental illness; special health care needs; and low incidence disabilities. Yesodot also serves individuals with visual impairment and those who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Yesodot serves all members of the family: parents, siblings and grandparents, in addition to children, teens and young adults with disabilities. Yesodot's families believe that young people with strong and empowered families will reach their fullest potential and will lead more independent lives.
